Play Therapy

Since play is the natural language of children, it only makes sense that children would use play to communicate and resolve problems. Play therapy helps children explore and master challenges through play based interventions such as sensory-motor play, creative play, social play, narrative play, and imaginary play. Carefully selected toys, games, and books are used to help engage the therapeutic powers of play to help children grow, learn, and become more emotionally regulated.

Play Therapy helps:

manage anxiety, improve impulse control, regulate emotions, resolve inner conflicts, heal from trauma, improve compliance, and develop healthy relationships with caregivers.
